Fishing Tips

fishing tips

* My first fishing tip is to have FUN.

* The person that keeps their line in the water longer has a better chance of catching trout, and it helps if they have the right lures or baits.

* Be where the fish are, learn about their habits, their environment.

* Keep your hooks sharp.

*Check your knots and your line.

here is a short video to show you the best fishing knot I know

big trout

* When trout fishing, choose the waters close to shore, shady areas, the top 40 feet.

* If you are trolling, check your gear often, " trout don't eat salad " remove any weeds and check for tangles.

Remember more lore means more fish, if you would like to add any of your knowledge, please submit below.

Also I am in the process of writing about my 30 years of fishing BC waters, an e-book will soon be available, along with some short videos on the best fishing knots, filleting fish, and smoking fish, just to name a few.

Please submit a tip or two of your own, Thanks!
