Farmers Market

For ten years we have had a Farmers Market on the Southside, We have a new nature trail, with the dock nearby, we want everyone to come
and enjoy a good time together.
Come by boat, ferry, car, truck, float plane, walk or ride a bike or horse-BUT come and look what we have made together.
Many community members have donated time, money and equipment to make this possible-now we can say thank you.

The first farmers market is held on the Saturday before Mother's Day, then next is the Saturday before Father's Day, then every
Saturday till the end of September.
This market has been on the South Side for ten years now. The space in the building was first donated by Murry and Shirley Creighton,
later they sold the property
to SEDA. With the help of grants from NDKF, NDIT, and the regional District, many, many volunteer hours and donations from the community-
the place is renovated and upgraded
to have an attractive place to sell our wares.
People who come for the summer depend on the fresh produce and eggs, as well as those who no longer garden, or due to job's or
space can't raise a garden.
If you want to sell canned items, etc. pleas get you approval from Northern Health.

Living a country life provides an opportunity to take advantage of some of the finer pleasures in life, freshly baked bread or donuts from local Mennonites,
fresh canning salsas, jams, etc.

This market shows off lots of local talent when it comes to arts and
country crafts.
