My Country Store

Normally when people say they are going to the store for milk, its not a big deal.

Well for me it is an adventure especially in the winter, for me the trip takes about an hour and a half, if all goes well.

The road is gravel all the way, wildlife and cattle are commonly seen on the road, and the scenery is breathtaking..

When arriving at the store, I cannot say enough about the owners, David and Rise' Gruen, always going above and beyond.

Their general country store contains everything you need from bait and tackle to first aid supplies, groceries to automotive supplies, local artistry and souvenirs.

They also have a cafe' serves everything from breakfast and burgers to steak and prawns.

Also offered are liquor sales, fuel and propane, wireless internet access, postage stamps, fishing and hunting licenses.

There are also RV/campsites with hook-ups and tent sites for the more traditional camper,

Available to you are boat, canoe and paddle boat rentals, playing fields, swing sets/slides, smokehouse use, Sani-dump, boat launch,laundry facilities, and coin showers.
