Binta Valley Farm is an "off the grid" family operated farm located on Binta Lake. A rustic cabin (sleeps 4) on Binta Lake and a fully equipped cottage (sleeps 6) on Francois Lake (Southbank, within walking distance to ferry), are available year round. Canoe and kayak can also be rented.

This is a working cattle ranch combined with a guest ranch business.

There are 2 venues to rent:

Guest log cabin rustic style, 2-4 people, 5 mins away

Beautiful attic apartment in new log guest house, 2-6 people

Activities include: guided trail rides 1-4 hours checking on cattle and exploring the area. Canoe and kayak available.

Double Box Ranch

Year-round working cattle ranch producing natural, grass-fed beef. Cabins and lodge house available to use as your base for your fishing and or hunting trips, winter and summer recreation.

Ootsa Lake Ranch

Hans and Barbara Buch have guest accommodation available right on Ootsa Lake. They raise Rideau Arcott Sheep, a hardy Canadian breed for milk, meat and wool. Different to cow and goat milk, sheep has many amazing health benefits due to its special composition. It makes very delicious jog hurt and cheese (feta) etc. The milk is very rich and creamy but taste neutral like cow milk.
