Cooking Recipes for Grouse
This is a cooking recipe for grouse or any game bird.
First we go out any get our game bird, I live in the country so for me a short walk out the back yard will be suffice for this.

My step son got this grouse it was his first, I filleted the breast meat for us. This is quite simple, just peal back the feathers and skin and follow down the back bone on each side.

Now since this was my step son's game bird, I sliced the grouse into strips and covered them with flour seasoned with pepper and seasoning salt, then simply just deep fried them for a few minutes, and served them with fresh potatoes from the garden.
Use any sauce you would like, plum sauce, or honey mustard are my favorites.
